I think I read that the no-channel-usage list was expanded in 1. 18 to include ME Level Emitters, though that seems like a bit of a strange choice IMO. If it runs out between ticks you can get network resets. 10+, you can theoretically use the EU P2P Tunnels (Mekanism can use EU be default), but those are buggy in that version. AE2 seems to have way more addons to allow stuff like Botania Mana transfer and other mod compatibilities. depends on your channel usuage.
